Yamamoto Seikodo
Yamamoto Seikodo is a "Nushi-ya" (lacquerware company) who coordinates the different artisans involved in each step of the Wajima lacquerware process. While dealing with many types of lacquerware, they also perform "Maki-e", the final process of finishing Wajima lacquerware. Yamamoto Seikodo was established in 1935 as a lacquerware store when Wajima Station, the terminus of the Noto Railway, was opened.
