We are pleased to announce our participation in the Saudi International Handicrafts Week "Banan", taking place 13-19 November 2025
Bringing the traditional Kyoto craft of wagasa (Japanese traditional umbrella) to the wider world, we are honored to present our time-honored techniques at this international handicrafts event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Banan event serves as a place of learning, commerce, and cultural exchange, bringing together Saudi artisans and master craftspeople from around the world. The program includes live demonstrations, training workshops, market places and national pavilions, offering visitors the rare opportunity to experience artisan techniques and creative processes up close.

Hiyoshiya will present and sell design lighting inspired by the structure of wagasa, the traditional Japanese umbrella. In harmony with Banan’s theme "Celebrating Living Heritage," we aim to convey the elegance and meticulous craftsmanship of Japanese handicrafts to all who attend.
