To celebrate the opening of the Senbonzakura Exhibition 2025: Quarter Moon - Waxing Moon, Act Two: Reminiscence, held on Saturday-Sunday, December 13-14, 2025, Hiyoshiya will offer official exhibition merchandise and host Mini Kyo-Wagasa (Kyoto-style traditional umbrella) craft workshops for a limited time from Saturday, December 13th, 2025 through Saturday, January 31st, 2026.
The Senbonzakura Exhibition 2025 is an art exhibition series that brings to life the fictional world of the novel Senbonzakura, installing imagined historical landscapes into real-world spaces. In Act Two: Reminiscence, held in Nishijin, Kyoto, visitors are invited to explore the story’s aftermath, a world where cherry blossoms, the moon, and rain weave a fresh new tale.
We warmly invite you to enjoy the breathtaking world of Senbonzakura, where a thousand cherry blossoms spread across wintertime Kyoto, and to discover the charm of traditional crafts created alongside Hatsune Miku.
For a limited time, we are offering two special items crafted by the artisans of Hiyoshiya, who have preserved the traditional craft of Kyoto-style umbrellas for over 160 years.
Mini Kyo-Wagasa |¥23,880 (tax included)
Inspired by the Taisho-era style depicted in the Senbonzakura video, this miniature Kyoto-style umbrella expresses intricate details across its entire surface. With a diameter of 30 cm, it can be displayed alongside figures or collectibles, or admired as a standalone work of art.

KOTORI Lamp |¥23,880 (tax included)
A lighting design that highlights the techniques and materials of Kyoto-style umbrellas, the KOTORI Lamp brings the elegance of traditional craftsmanship into your home.
