On February 4, 2026, Hiyoshiya participated in a talk event at Première Vision in Paris, a B2B fashion trade show, where we introduced the charm of Japanese traditional crafts and designer collaborations.
This year, Japan was highlighted in a feature area at Première Vision, drawing attention to domestic ateliers and brands. Hiyoshiya also took part in this opportunity to present its activities and initiatives to international buyers and designers.
Première Vision, held annually in Paris, gathers fashion industry professionals from around the world. As part of the 2026 focus on Japan, workshops and brands attracted significant attention.Through the talk event, Hiyoshiya introduced overseas participants to the appeal of Japanese traditional crafts, designer collaborations, and the value of skilled craftsmanship.
On the first day of the exhibition, February 4, Hiyoshiya was invited to a talk event co-hosted by BEAU MAGAZINE and Première Vision. Under the theme “Japanese Traditional Crafts,Traveling Techniques,” we shared our work and examples of collaborations between traditional artisans and contemporary designers. We discussed the new value created through the fusion of craftsmanship and design, and how these initiatives are being communicated to overseas markets.
