Kyowagasa Hiyoshiya will be participating in the Kyoto Traditional Craft Experience hosted by Wakasa Seikatsu.

This event brings together traditional craft artisans and artists from Kyoto. As the cherry blossoms season begins, we invite you to experience the appeal of Japanese craftsmanship firsthand. Visitors are welcome to attend with friends and family. We look forward to seeing you!

At the Hiyoshiya booth, we will hold our popular hands-on workshop “Create a Table Lamp Using Wagasa Structure and Materials.” While learning about the history and materials of wagasa (traditional Japanese umbrella), enjoy a springtime experience that offers insights into techniques preserved and passed down in Kyoto over generations.
