1st Floor Showroom: We exhibit and sell architectural and interior materials, incorporating traditional techniques and materials within the 'WAZAI Material' collection. We offer materials with stories that enhance the spaces of accommodation facilities, stores, and homes. Additionally, we present products and craft artworks that suit these spaces under the title "WAZAI Product," allowing you to physically experience and purchase them. We also conduct sales for the general public, so please feel free to visit.

2nd Floor Material Library: Our Material Library archives ‘WAZAI Material,’ which professionals can use for architectural and interior-related materials, boasting Japan's largest collection. You can explore a diverse range of techniques and materials that color Japan's culture, including lacquerware, washi paper, bamboo, woodworking, textiles, dyeing, and more. We cater to architects, design firms, and individuals, listening to their desired concepts and selecting artisans and manufacturing companies with the appropriate materials and techniques. This enables us to plan and produce various materials for project-specific needs.

Preserving Traditional Japanese Techniques in Modern Lifestyles

In Japan, the art of crafting beautiful tools and handicrafts from the gifts of nature has been a tradition since ancient times. Meticulously created by skilled hands, these items have shaped a refined cultural lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of cherishing and using them with care. However, traditional techniques face the risk of daily erosion due to significant shifts in modern living. Kyoto Amplitude aims to propose a new, enriched Japanese lifestyle for contemporary living by bringing functionality and innovative design to these precious resources. We commit to safeguarding and enhancing the value of longstanding traditional techniques and designs, appealing to the world.
